  6. Brain Innovations has acquired a
  7. license to once again offer the
  8. venerable JiffyDOS disk drive
  9. enhancement solution for the
  10. Commodore computer line. Now setting
  11. up for sales, the company will offer
  12. not only physical ROM replacements
  13. but also ROM images. All drive and
  14. machine ROMs will be available for
  15. sale and/or download.

  22. As announced at the C4 EXPO, I am
  23. working with Mark Fellows (Highland
  24. IT Solutions) to finalize a licensing
  25. agreement for 'JiffyDOS' ROM Overlay
  26. manufacture and distribution.  In
  27. addition to hardware ROM enhancement
  28. units, I will also offer image
  29. downloads for 1541 Ultimate, C64DTV,
  30. and emulator users, as well as an
  31. amnesty offering for unlicensed
  32. copies.

  34. To minimize manual manufacturing
  35. processes inherent in the current
  36. EPROM-based JiffyDOS offerings, my
  37. goal is to utilize the ROM-el
  38. EEPROM/FLASH solution for JiffyDOS
  39. hardware offerings
